Zuhai, China / Last weekend, International T P R Students and Nepali Musician Hari Shrestha Organize Nepali Food and Music Festival 2012 at Beishan Hall Zhuhai in China organized Multicultural Festival and Live Music night. It was a competition among students groups from different countries. The theme for the performance was “United We Stand”. Team Nepal performed a brief Shakya Muni Sidharth Buddha. the whole story of how our country was unified, how it is being divided and with a take home message to unify this country again to regain our dignity and identity. Interational Food Festival also was held together with Beishan World Music Festival in the nearby Yang Family Temple. Food stalls from all over the world presented their food to the wonderful crowd. Neplese food stall was set under guidance-ship of Hari Shreshtha himself. Bijaya Shreshtha arrived from Hong Kong, Mr Badri Prasad Twayana arrived from Macao to prepare mouth-watering Bara, Dyakula and Samaybaji to excited crowd which was served in Tapari and matoko kapari(salicha). Mr. Purna Prajapati from Hong Kong supplied the food, drinks and dishes. Mr. Sitaram Dhungana from Bhetghat Restaurant presented Neplese handicrafts. Mrs Sangeeta Shreshtha,Moeva from Ghong Chao and Sreeya Shreshtha in Newari Dresss seemed to attract the attention of the crowd towards the stall. We won the award for Best Props design and We were the winner of Big group students. The runner up for big group was China. This is the second time Team Beishan Music Group and Gems music Group won prize.

The Second Beishan World Music Festival took place in 2 centuries old Beishan Theatre, Zhuhai on 14th and 15th of Apr 2012 from 6pm to 11pm.
The main organizers of the event were Beishan Lihe Creative Cultural Industries Ltd. supported by Link Yard Propagation and Delta Bridges Media Ltd and Gems Music Group(HK). The main sponsors of the programe were Mercedez-Benz and Grand Bay View Hotel along with other sponsors. Medias from Hong Kong, Macao, Shenzen, Guanzou and Zhuhai itself had helped promote the event and were also present to report the event.
Opening of the first day programe was with a choir from “Duccling Choir”. It consisted a group of Chinese kids singing beautiful choir. Then Mr Simone Xue, the director of Beishan Lihe Creative Cultural Ltd. along with Miss Wendy Kuang, the founder of Link Yard Culture Propagation Ltd. and Mr JJ Verdum were invited on stage to welcome all the guests and audiences. Mr Xue, is the leader of Beishan Music Festival supported by Miss Kuang and Mr Verdum as members of the festival. Opening of second day of the programe was with a powerful performance of musical veteran Hari Shreshtha from Nepal and Liya Fei from China. They presented wonderful fusion between traditional Neplese musical instrument Tabla and Madal along with Chinese traditional musical instrument Ehru tinged with DJ tunes.
Many bands formed from 11 different countries presented a heart-throbbing magical two nights of music. Swing Brosse System from France was a family band of father mother and their four kids. They mesmerized the crowd with their Gypsy style Jazz on both days. Liyana Fizi was invited from Malaysia. She presented a fusion between bossanova and folk. She was backed beautifully by her music directors and composers on Guitar and Drum. Another band was Toy Captain from Chaoshan Island of China. They sang in their local dialect of Nan’o people. Red Taurus was a band of senior musicians. They presented Spanish Flamingo and the American Jazz. A performance by Funf, a Hong Kong based band was closure of the two musical nights of The Second Beishan World Music Festival 2012. Each band were given about fifty minutes to perform. Each band seemed to mesmerize the audience all along having them shout “Once more, Once more” at the end of every performance many Fan of Hari Shrestha’s queuing for Autograph.

Mr. Purna Prajapati from Hong Kong supplied the food, drinks and dishes. Mr. Sitaram Dhungana from Bhetghat Restaurant presented Neplese handicrafts. Media personality Miss Sharon Pun from Hong Kong along with renowned media personality of south China Gordon Feng hosted the programe. Miss Sharon Pun changed to 3 Neplese traditional costumes during the hosting which was immensely appraised by the audience members.
Over all, it was a feast of two magical nights of unique, rare and high quality music and cultures from around the world. Mr Simone Xue, the director of Beishan Lihe Creative Cultural Industries Ltd. is not only renowned for his eagle eye to find the rare, unique and immensely talented artists from around the world. He is also appraised for his keen interest of saving the culture and traditions of different countries and areas. After this flawless show audience seem to be leaving the auditorium already looking forward to the next event organized by Beishan Lihe Creative Cultural Industries Ltd.
