London | Highly anticipated movie “Raajneeti” is all set for release this week on June 4, 2010. It’s a multi starrer film starring Naseruddin Shah, Nana Paketar, Ajay Devgan, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Manoj Bajpai, Arjun Rampal etc. The story basically revolves round the battle severely fought during election campain where money power and corruption goes hand in hand where as betrayal and exploitation are the commonly used weapons. Most of the movie is shot in Bhopal in India.

Even though the movie has a political backdrop director and producer of the movie Prakash Jha said that the movie is not a dry political drama. He further added saying he wants people to get entertained and have no intension whatsoever to teach or preach.

The main highlight of the movie is considered as Katrina kaif’s character which has a massive resemblance to Congress Party Chief Sonia Gandhi due to which it was also involved in a big controversy and was denied a certificate by the censor board.

After all those controversies put at rest movie is all ready and promotion is on its full swing. Whether their hard work will pay off or not, we have to wait and watch.-Sangeeta, Mesa
