Amrit Gurung the name itself is enough to define the Nepalese modern contemporary music. He is the face and the lead vocalist of the most famous band “Nepathya”. Their songs are rock themed but with a folk tune and it is one of the many reasons why their songs are equally loved by music critics as well as the audiences. He (Amrit Gurung) is considered as the one of the musical icon of Nepalese music scene who is among the few people responsible for shaping the Nepalese music scene.

So far their every album has been a huge success. Their latest and the 9th album “Aaina Jhyal” is all set to take a ride towards the success road and marking their comeback in the Nepalese music scene. The latest album also consists of rock with folk tunes infused songs. Along with their album releasing they will be performing live in concert in Kathmandu after the gap of four years.

I guess that’s what we call “Back with a Bang”.
