Kutumba goes international


London – These days where modern music is slowly getting its roots in Nepali music scene, there are few Nepali musical bands which are dedicated and promoting the Nepali Traditional Music through their works. One of those few such bands “Kutumba” happens to be a well known band who are totally committed in the actual Nepali Traditional Music.

Their fidelity and devotion in Nepalese traditional music had made them famous nationally but now their hard work have paid off as they are all set to go in the international musical scene. It has been confirmed that they will be performing in the Commonwealth Games which is being held in India, October 10 and 11. They will be performing along with some of the biggest names in Indian and international music scene.

The group of six professional in Nepalese folk instruments are all excited and overwhelmed with the opportunity they have to show the world their talent and Nepalese traditional music. They wish to spread Nepali folk music throughout the world. “It is such an honor to be able to represent the country. We couldn’t have asked for a better platform than this to take our music to a global audience, said Pavit Maharjhan one of the members of the band.
